I’M JUAN GARCIA
Photographer, Anthropologist, Conceptualist, Experience-Seeker.
As a kid I frequently travelled back and forth to Mexico with my family, and it was there I started to understand the concept of the "fleeting moment." Prior to each trip, I purchased disposable cameras for the joy I felt when pressing the shutter button and for the memories we could reminisce on once the film was developed.
I started my professional journey in photography 10 years ago. Inspired by peers in Los Angeles, I began photographing the culture there. I went on to photograph cityscapes and landscapes in various countries as my passion for travel and exploration amplified. From there, my focus shifted into photojournalism as I attended political rallies and moments of history in the making. Through my growth in photography, I've found that I specifically love helping people become aware of the art in themselves, their ventures, and their daily lives.
My work has been featured in local media, company websites, and world-record breaking projects. I am deeply grateful for the opportunities photography has brought me and for the amazing humans I have met along the way.
